We eat food for to maintain strength and energy of our body and to keep us healthy. Eating special food for the particular season will help our body to be fit and we will not have weakness in our health.

In winter season the temperature falls and cold increases. Cold air touches the body and we feel cold. We wear warm clothes so that we cannot loss the heat of our body. And the heat will remain in our body, which helps to build the energy in digestion of food. In winter the day will be small and night will be long, due to which the body gets more rest. This all will result in the digesting the heavy food.

When the cold increases one must start using the seasonal fruits and better food. The food we take in winter season must include Ghee, milk, butter, black gram, halwa (sweet confections), kheer (made by boiling rice or broken wheat with milk and sugar,), rabri (an Indian dish made with dahi [yogurt], flour and sugar), Dry Fruits, etc.

In winter season we must include following things in our food banana, carrot, Guava, honey, palak(spinach), methi(fenugreek), etc.

Take sweet milk after 2 and half hour of taking your food use one spoon of ghee with it, we can use honey also with milk, if we want to take honey then take the cold milk mix 2 spoon of honey with it and take it. Drink the milk slowly, don’t take it in one time.

In severe winter use the sweet made of til(sesame seeds) and gur(jaggery), massage the whole body using mustered oil, after winter(sprng season) when the neem tree leaves falls and new leaves grows, eat some 10 to 15 new leaves daily. This will help to protect your body from fever, skin deisease, and keep your blood pure throughout the year.
